Irish Country pop star Nathan Carter is back at the West Cliff for another energetic live performance with his amazing band and a special support guest.

Nathan is one of Ireland’s biggest artists, and with an incredible 7 top 10 albums under his belt, he is well on his way to becoming a household name. Most recently, the 2018 ‘Born for the Road’ shot straight into the top 5 at number 3.

Growing up in a house where Country and Western music filled the air, Nathan was exposed to classic songs of Johnny Cash, Don Williams and Dolly Parton. From the tender age of 4 years old, not only learning to play guitar, piano and accordion, which plays a vital part in his live show, Nathan quickly became head chorister in the Liverpool Boys choir where he toured the world and even performed in front of the Pope in Rome.

Nathan will be joined by Special Guest Claudia Buckley.

The Cinder Path tells the tale of Charlie Macfell, an innocent witness to the murder of his cruel and sadistic landowner father. Believing himself to be the only person aware that his childhood friend Arthur Benton is the killer, Charlie tries to set old injustices to right by protecting his friend from prosecution.

Written by legendary author Dame Catherine Cookson, The Cinder Path is a sizzling and fast-moving drama set against the backdrop of WW1.

This is theatre at its very best filled with laughter, tears and an unforgettable musical score.

“The charity Autism Anglia are very excited and proud to host a celebratory evening of autistic talent on the fabulous stage of the West Cliff Theatre. There will be singing, dancing and poetry from autistic individuals, as well as musical performances from friends of Autism Anglia, a performance of the “All Stand Strong” song, by the Multi-Schools Council children and Special Guest Dean Beadle will be giving us a unique performance too!

The show is being supported by the talented Evolution Foundation College from Colchester, with Jacqui Tapsell as our Stage Director. The college students will be giving some performances, as well as supporting the performers on stage, with some backing dancing.

Our Ambassador, Anna Kennedy OBE, will be compering the evening, along with her friend and radio DJ Aston Avery.
