Posing as amateur musicians, Professor Marcus and his gang rent rooms in the lopsided house of sweet but strict Mrs Wilberforce. The villains plot to involve her, unwittingly, in Marcus’s brilliantly conceived heist job.

The police are left stumped but Mrs Wilberforce becomes wise to their ruse and Marcus concludes that there is only one way to keep the old lady quiet. With only her parrot, General Gordon, to help her, Mrs Wilberforce is alone with five desperate men. But who will be forced to face the music?

This is a community production by Clacton Amateur Dramatic Society.

Macbeth

A full-scale production set in the murky Dark Ages where love, politics and witchcraft collide.

A warworn Macbeth is told by three sisters that he is fated to become King of Scotland, beginning a series of events that lead to the destruction of Kings, friends and souls as he, and his Lady, try to cling to the tainted crown.

Enjoy this classic tale as portrayed by William Shakespeare with sorcery, ghostly apparitions and spectacular sword fights!

This is a professional touring show presented by the National Production Company Limited and contains occasional short bursts of haze, choreographed fights (mild violence, no gore) and flashing lights (not strobes).

PLEASE NOTE THIS PERFORMANCE STARTS AT 7PM AND RUNS 2 HR 50 MINS WITH INTERVAL
